Evan grew up in Santa Barbara, California and has been working in the film and television industry since 2006. His editing work includes acclaimed television shows, lauded festival feature films and commercial/trailer content. He received his MFA in film and television production from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he concentrated in editing.

After graduating, Evan assisted on independent feature standouts 28 HOTEL ROOMS, I AM I, and SPARROWS DANCE. Evan then landed a horror fan’s dream gig assisting on THE WALKING DEAD for AMC. After two years, he moved up to Editor for seasons 6-9 of the beloved zombie franchise.

Evan edited his first dramatic feature, the Netflix Original BURNING SANDS, which was selected for US Dramatic Competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Later, he had the opportunity to collaborate as an Editor at the 2018 Sundance Directors Lab, workshopping scenes with Directing Fellows Andrew Bruntel and Lyle Mitchell Corbine.

Recently, Evan co-edited the ALL AMERICAN pilot for CW and helmed the Crypt TV original horror series THE BIRCH for Facebook Watch. In 2020, he completed a stint in Austin, TX editing the pilot and a series run for the Amazon Original series PANIC. Currently, Evan is cutting the Netlfix Original Series, RESIDENT EVIL. Which premieres in 2022. 

He lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife, son, and motorcycle.
